Thank you for your interest in joining the Youth Engaged in Philanthropy (YEP) organization of St. Louis! Our group is full for 2017. Please check back in the fall to apply for our 2018 YEP program.
YEP is a student-run organization, sponsored by the Youthbridge Foundation. The group consists of 20-25 St. Louis area high school students who are committed to serving organizations that benefit youth in the St. Louis area and want to learn more about the philanthropic grant process.
In its inaugural year, students in the program will have the opportunity to create a grant application and help allocate money to non-profit organizations that benefit youth in the St. Louis area. There will be meetings at least once a month that include bonding activities, community service, construction of the program, discussion of philanthropic applications, and other mentoring services to help the youth grow into strong, independent adults who give back to the communities in which they live.
- Check email regularly for YEP correspondence
- Attend monthly meetings for 2-3 hours each
- Have no more than 3 excused absences
- Have no more than 1 unexcused absence
- Participate in at least one YEP committee
- Comply with confidentiality regarding grant applications
Applications will be accepted for 2018 beginning in September 2017.
If you have any questions about this application or YEP in general, please contact Maddy To at YEP@youthbridge.org.
