Standing Strong across St. Louis and St. Charles

Progress 64 West hosted its 33rd Annual Excellence in Community Development Awards Banquet on November 24 in Chesterfield, Missouri. This annual event brings together businesses and leaders from across St. Louis and St. Charles counties. The theme for this year’s luncheon was “Stand Strong” and featured keynote speakers Barbara Carswell, Youthbridge CEO, and Bruce Affleck, President St. Louis Blues Alumni Association, who spoke of the power of partnership to strengthen our community.

The Economic Development Council of St. Charles, Ben Brown, Inventor Forge MakerSpace, St. Louis Blues Alumni Association, and the Youthbridge Community Foundation were all honored with a 2021 Community Development Award. YouthBridge was also proud to fund the Louis S. Sachs Scholarship, which awarded a record-breaking $11,500 to area high school seniors.
