Charitable Giving Cards

Charitable giving cards work much like retail gift cards. Instead of redeeming the card for a product or service, the recipient will use the card to donate to a charity of their choice. Recipients can donate to over 1.8 million 501(c)(3) charities in the United States, including schools, churches, and synagogues. Charitable giving cards are available as physical or e-cards, with ready-made or custom designs.

You may customize the giving cards with a photo, company logo or your own design. You will need to provide a high-resolution image file that is 3.38 by 2.12 inches (1.6:1 ratio) and at least 1324 X 832 pixels. Contact us at (314) 720-4409 to begin the process of creating your custom card.

Please place a separate order for each card design and dollar value.

For sales of physical cards, you can expect cards to be mailed as follows:

• Under 20 cards – mailed within 3 business days
• 20 to 100 cards – mailed within 5 business days
• 101 or more cards – mailed within 10 business days

For digital sales, we expect to issue cards as follows:

• Under 20 cards – issued the next business day
• Over 20 cards – issued within 5 business days

Please allow additional time for your order to reach you by US Postal Service once mailed.

• Check the expiration date on the back of your card and select the Redeem Card button based on the expiration date.
• Enter your card number and follow the instructions on the screen for redeeming your card.

Yes. You can redeem your giving card for as many charities as you would like, provided you don’t exceed the face value of the giving card and meet the minimum donation amount to each charity. When you redeem your giving card, pick your first charity and choose an amount to donate, then go on to select the next charity, and so on.

We send giving card redemption checks to charities on a monthly basis.

Yes. Giving cards expire 12 months from the date issued. The expiration date is listed on the back of each card.If a giving card expires, the unused gift amount will be swept into a fund at YouthBridge Community Foundation. YouthBridge will use that money to make grants to nonprofit organizations serving children and youth. All proceeds go to nonprofit organizations.

No. YouthBridge does not benefit financially from the charitable giving card program; it is meant to benefit the community, and we administer this program as a community service.

Administration fees offset a portion of the costs we incur in administering this program. The fee will be shown before you place your order. Proceeds (if any) will be granted to nonprofit organizations.

The purchaser of the giving card can claim a charitable tax deduction to the full extent permitted by law. When you buy a giving card, you make a charitable donation to YouthBridge Community Foundation, and we will send you a charitable gift receipt.
