YouthBridge Awards 2020 Heritage Grant to Two Local Organizations
YouthBridge Community Foundation has announced that Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls and Ready Readers will each receive a 2020 Heritage Grant. The YouthBridge Heritage grant is awarded to local nonprofit organizations that serve/support children and have received ongoing support from our Donor-Advised Fund clients.
Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls
Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that enables young women from diverse backgrounds to achieve academic success in a college preparatory program and to become leaders in their communities and professions.
Ready Readers
Ready Readers prepares preschool-age children living in low-income communities to become readers by reading aloud to them, providing high quality books, and offering literacy-related experiences.
Previous Heritage grant recipients include One Heart Family Ministries, The Child Center, FamilyForward, Our Lady’s Inn, Crisis Nursery and City Academy.
