Camp Jump Start Wins Brackets-Style Charity Contest
College hoops fans aren’t the only winners working the brackets.
Camp Jump Start in Imperial raised $51,983 in the final round in a blowout win against HEROES Care in the Brackets For Good St. Louis’ fundraising contest based on the NCAA men’s basketball playoffs. YouthBridge Community Foundation was a proud sponsor of this year’s Brackets for Good tournament.
We knew our community of St. Louis was generous, and this year’s Brackets for Good results prove it! We are proud to announce that this year’s Brackets for Good tournament raised a total of $303,730 for all of the non-profits involved. Thank you to the 2,393 donors that helped make this an outstanding success!
A special congratulations to Camp Jump Start, 2017 winner, and recipient of a $10,000 grant from YouthBridge.
“Thank you to all who supported Camp Jump Start in the Brackets for Good Tournament. We are so appreciative of our staff, board, volunteers and donors, and we are humbled by the overwhelming support. To other non-profit leaders, this tournament has been a game changer for us. In the past, I have been uncomfortable with the famous “ask”, but with a competitive game, that “ask” was easy. For this I am grateful, since our nonprofit’s success depends on it. Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!”
