Elphanie “Sissy” Swift

Director of Grants and Community Initiatives

As the Director of Grants and Community Initiatives, Sissy oversees all grant opportunities in support of YouthBridge’s goals and strategies established by the Grant Committee, clients and the CEO. She is responsible for and manages all grantmaking programs, special projects and technical assistance. In addition, Sissy is responsible for the management of special initiatives and projects including those in collaboration with other funding partners.

Sissy has over 30 years of nonprofit management experience. Her most recent employment was as the Executive Director of The Child Center, a nonprofit Child Advocacy Center that fights to have the voices of abused children heard. She holds a Master’s Degree from Webster University in Management and Leadership. She is a graduate of Vision Leadership St. Charles and FOCUS St. Louis’ Women In Leadership Program.
