Immigrant Family Emergency Response

The Immigrant Family Emergency Response Fund, a pooled fund created collaboratively by local foundations and nonprofit organizations, addresses the financial repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic and lack of funding available for immigrant families. Immigrants in our community are most concerned with being able to pay for basic needs such as rent and providing for their families. Also, there is a vulnerable part in the immigrant community unable to access the necessary social supports that many of us rely on during the crisis.

Major contributors to the Fund include the Marillac Mission Fund, Missouri Foundation for Health, Joan and John Vatterott Family Foundation, Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis, Incarnate Word Foundation, Nina Needleman, The Vatterott Foundation, School Sisters of Notre Dame, Debra Cole and Claire Hundelt.
