The Duane “DT” Tolen, Sr. Foundation
Donate Online“They have to see it, before they can be it.” – Duane “DT” Tolen, Sr.
In response to the sudden, tragic death of Duane and in honor of his memory and the legacy of his outstanding mentoring and community service work, the Duane “DT” Tolen, Sr. Foundation was established to provide young men in underserved communities with the life skills and resources to thrive and be successful.
Dollars raised will be used to carry out the mission and vision of Boys 2 Ment.o.r.r.s (Men teaching others respect and responsibilities), a mentoring program founded by Duane that has mentored, dressed, loved, and fed over 500 boys since its inception in 2019. Providing meals, mentoring, counseling, clothing, and other necessities is vital to breaking generational adversities that negatively affect our youth.
Children in underserved communities face daunting odds such as poverty, unemployment, literacy, disempowerment, and more. The Duane “DT” Tolen, Sr. Foundation seeks to fill this void and bridge the gap, giving boys the hope, foundation, and support they need to feel valued and prosper.
