The Welcome Home Association
Donate OnlineHelping to provide and extend an “at home” feeling within our walls for adopted and foster children as well as their parents, foster parents and families through our professional internal and external resources in St. Louis and surrounding areas.
The Welcome Home Association was founded and created in 2023 by transracial adoptee, Joy Blase who continuously draws a lot of inspiration from her own childhood and her gracious mother, a retired special education teacher to preschoolers. They primarily serve children and families of adoption and foster care by providing supportive aid services such as skilled therapies as well as offering excellent educational courses and classes.
The main goals of The Welcome Home Association are:
- To raise grand awareness about adoption and foster care and lessen the stigma around adoption and foster care
- To spread honest knowledge about statistics and demographics that surround adoption and foster care
- To lower statistics, break walls and heal system damage
- To teach willing individuals about adoption and foster care through in depth trainings, classes and materials
- To find the appropriate loving and welcoming families to place waiting children into safe homes and environments through selective recruitment and the vetting process
