William S. Anheuser Charitable Fund Helps Students Succeed
The William S. Anheuser Charitable Fund recently granted $20,000 to the St. Louis Community College Foundation.
Many of the students attending St. Louis Community College (STLCC) come from school districts where almost 75% of the students qualified for free or reduced lunch in high school. That particular need continues for these students as they transition from high school to college. It’s especially challenging in a community college setting, where meal plans are not provided, and therefore not covered by financial aid. The grant provided by the William S. Anheuser Charitable fund will help provide reliable meals for these students, allowing them to focus on their studies.
Together with STLCC, the William S. Anheuser Charitable Fund grant will help empower students to earn their degree by providing long-term support.
