YEP Gets Hands-on with Day of Service

It was all hands on deck on October 6, as YEP (Youth Engaged in Philanthropy) participants joined with employees from their sponsor, First Bank, for a day of service at Kingdom House. The students were able to see how last year’s YEP grant was put to work to support the neighborhood. Their work cleaning childcare rooms was followed by a tour of the facility and an opportunity to learn more about the economic realities of the people served by Kingdom House.
