What are charitable giving cards?

How do I order custom giving cards?

You will need to provide us with a high-resolution image file that is 3.38 by 2.12 inches (1.6:1 ratio) and at least 1324 X 832 pixels. A one-time set up fee of $50 applies per custom design. When will my cards be ready?

Charitable giving cards orders of 100 or less will normally be mailed to you within five business days of order. Live in the St. Louis area and wish to pick them up? Contact us at (314) 985-6778. For custom designs or orders over 100 cards, please contact us for pricing and expected turnaround time.

How do you redeem a charitable giving card?

Charitable Giving Cards can also be redeemed by calling (866) 627-3440, or by simply giving your card directly to your favorite charity. Charitable Giving Cards can be redeemed to benefit any 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States – including schools, churches and synagogues.

Do they have an expiration date?

Giving cards expire 12 months from the date issued. The expiration date is listed on the back of each card.

If a giving card expires, the unused gift amount will be swept into a fund held at YouthBridge. That money will be used to make grants to nonprofit organizations serving children and youth. All proceeds go to nonprofit organizations.

Can I purchase giving cards through my fund?

Yes, the purchase of giving cards is a contribution to a 501(c)(3) public charity. Contact us at (314) 985-6778 and we will assist you with the purchase.

Does YouthBridge benefit from the giving cards?

YouthBridge does not benefit financially from the charitable giving card program; it is meant to benefit the community and we administer this program as a community service. Credit card payment and processing fees of approximately 4% apply for orders up to $10,000, which helps to offset a portion of the administrative costs.

Who gets the deduction for purchasing charitable giving cards?

The purchaser of giving cards receives the deduction.
