What is a Community Foundation?

A community foundation is a collection of charitable funds established by individuals, families, businesses and organizations. Using these funds, community foundations support nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, typically within a geographically defined area. There are more than 700 community foundations across the United States and YouthBridge is a community foundation located in St. Louis, MO.
