The Progress 64 Entrepreneurial Scholarship Fund

The Progress 64 Entrepreneurial Scholarship supports, encourages and fosters young entrepreneurs by awarding scholarships to high school seniors living or going to school in St. Louis City, St Louis County and St. Charles County. The one-year awards can be used at trade schools as well as two-and four-year colleges and universities. To qualify for consideration, students are required to submit an executive summary of a business plan.

To date, the scholarship program – originally named in honor of visionary business leader Louis S. Sachs and initiated by Progress 64 West in 2004 – has awarded more than $150,000.

“The Louis S. Sachs scholarship through Progress 64 West meant more than financial support to schools seeking a business degree. Working with such a phenomenal organization helps to create connections that last a lifetime, and business advisors ready to assist in whatever that may be. Take every opportunity that presents itself to you, because one of them might just be the difference in your success.”  said Lucas Ramsey, a 2019 scholarship awardee.
